It feels real, it looks real, it SOUNDS real, just carrying that around greatly increases my mil-sim experiances. So far they have cost me less than my old foam rocket setup.

What do you mean nobody can use the cost excuse anymore? Thats a perfectly reasonable excuse, if someone doesn't want to flush 2 bucks down the toilet for a loud bang, and hopefully get someone out if they call it, thats perfectly reasonable to me. Those dollars for each grenade, will add up much faster than the 1 time cost of a foam nade, or even the cost of bbs. TAC should INCLUSIVE, not EXCLUSIVE.

I have used both but own no live action/sound grenades.
When I was just a kid, younger than many of the TAC regulars I parachuted into Panama. Among the 200+ pounds of equipment carried by me and the other soldiers were my M16A1, beautifully crafted by the General Motors company, two years prior to my birth, 210 rounds in 30 round mags, 400 rounds of 5.56mm in stripper clips, 400 rounds of 7.62mm in belts, a 1911A1 .45 ACP with 21 rounds, 1x 20 pound satchel charge, and 8 x M67 fragmentation grenades. Of the grenades, I carried 4 on my LBE, and hand 4 more, still in their cardboard containers, 2 each in the outside pockets of my large rucksack.
Its was said that it is not realistic to pick up a foam grenade and toss it again later.
So if you throw a foam grenade and pick it up and reuse it 2 minutes later, I don't care. If you reload a spent sound grenade and reuse it as soon as its ready, good for you.
A trained and prepared US soldier or marine can expend his ordinance upon a target in just a few seconds, take a minute digging in his gear and the toss several more spuds at it.
It is not realistic to pick it up and toss it immediately after however.
