I have had this DVD for over a year and just got around to watching it.Has anyone else viewed it?

Based on Actual events of a Soviet VDV company, placed ina remote outpost in Afganastan in 1989. Poor Bastards! Aside from the story it has a lot of use as a reference material to Uniforms and weapons. The film cuased a lot of controversy in Russia It is in Russian with subtitles, or can be played with English dubbed in.
It can be bought on AMAZON.
Another Good Russian film is called 12- A jusry is sequesterd to vote on the fate of an adopted Chechneyan child (now a Teenager) accused of Killing his father a former Russian Soldat- Some Good acting, and ,mixed war footage
