DH Recon: NWOpsite 05.02.09

Some of DH was supposed to go to MTT this weekend. Since our plans went out the window and we were not able to make it we did a little 'Op' of our own against the TAC players and other DH members playing pickups at NWopsite...

We came...


We saw...



We black bagged your asses...



It was all in good fun, we managed to watch and evade until the very end of the day in which we hurried to engage the other DH members and were summarily spanked.

The 'side event' proved that large fire teams (6 men) can do a good job at moving around the battlefield undetected in more 'realistic' circumstances when players think they know how large the other sides are. All in all it was a great excersize and I look forward to rolling elements of the unknown into more DH sponsored events.

While we were having pick up games the Dhawks watched us and came down during the 3rd game with out us knowing and pretty much screwed over everyone who wasn't already dead.

It was a little bit of a mind trip finding out we were being stalked the whole time.

We arrived before sun up and setup some positions on the mountain then watched from their when the first car rolled in at about 0700 until about 0930 or so. Then we snuck down and moved amongst them for the next hour and a half (sometimes laying 15 feet from people in the washes and brush) or so before we were spotted by Quadro who was playing spotter for the DH guys who we were 'black bagging'.
