Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
The airsoft scene here is pretty diverse. In Abilene where I am now we've had a group that ranges from 10-40 throughout the years. And here it's more CQB based than anything. I'm sad that i'm leaving these guys behind...I've known some of them my entire airsoft 'career'. My Dad also plays...And there's some reason most of the players out here fear him and his TM Thompson.
I looked over the rules and they're not all that different to what I'm used to over here so I won't have much trouble adjusting on that subject. I don't fall under most of the 'cliques' airsoft seems to have...I'm nopaintsofter,Milsim, chairsofter or the like. I believe in communication and teamwork however.
Personally I'm a bit shy. I'm 24 and love to Sim Race. And if i'm not doing that I'm on Battlefield 3 or outside. Right now the plan is to be there by the end of Jan. though i'm hoping sooner. I welcome the chance to make new friends and all that jazz.
