Old Business:

FUND RAISER: Status: OPEN
TAC was scheduled to host a fund raiser this summer to benefit a local charity group. Kiley and Buddha are in charge of the planning. This effort has seen no progress.

TAC PR: Status: OPEN
TAC would like to increase their positive exposure within the community. One proposal is to run a booth at a gun show. We are looking for volunteers who are mature, out-going, and are willing to help answer questions about TAC and airsoft in general. Scott ("Iconarms") has agreed to look into getting a booth for us and work out the overall logistics.

The Adopt-A-Highway effort has been shut down due to lack of involvement.

A PR news article is currently in work by Kiley. The article is meant to be displayed prominently on the TAC website, describing who we are and what we are about. A simple version of this exists on the Desert Hawks website, and Kiley is currently working on an updated version for TAC. Once it is ready, it will be released by the TAC Secretary.

TEAM SUB-FORUMS: Status: OPEN
In an effort to perform some housekeeping on the TAC website, it has been decided that inactive team sub-forums will be removed. In order to prevent your team sub-forum from being deleted, it must show some activity. Also, a team must consist of 3 or more people. Notices have been submitted to teams which will be affected by this activity.

FOR HIRE FORUM: Status: CLOSED
A new forum has been added to the TAC site, the FOR HIRE FORUM. In this forum, players will be able to list themselves as "for hire." In this way, people who are looking to join a team can more easily connect with teams who are looking to add a few more guns to their squad. Also, it will provide an avenue for players to find others who are looking to join a team and form their own.

AO SEARCH: Status: OPEN
Trent has been speaking with the Catalina District Forrest Service about trying to use some of their space as an AO. They are concerned about wildlife eating pellets, so they will not let us use their property. Trent specifically suggested we not contact them because they are not interested in speaking with us.

LEETNOOB has been looking into Oro Valley. He says they have a green belt, wash, and public park that could provide a good avenue for play. He's not sure if guns would need a brightly colored attachment, so he will be looking into the law and specific areas we might be able to use as an AO.

PNEUMATIC WEAPONS: Status: CLOSED
Kiley has updated the rules. Users must be 18 years or older to operate them, and they must have approval from game staff. Also, the items need to be homemade.

WAIVERS: Status: OPEN
We need to collect new ones! The old secretary left, so all the older waivers are gone. In the next 2 months or so, we will be handing out new waivers for players to sign and give to Jake (Buffalo) to keep secure.

Elections:
Here are your 2011 TAC Board Members:
President: Kiley
Vice President: Tyler "Quadro"
Secretary: Jake "Buffalo"
Treasurer: Brian "Bio"
Sergeant at Arms: Scott "IconArms"
CO: Dan "Tonk"
XO: Matt "Ultimentra"

Congratulations to all of this year's board members!

New Business:

FUND RAISER: Status: OPEN
Scott and Matt have volunteered to take over the responsibility of looking into donations and other information to help us put on a fund raiser this summer.

TAC PR/GUN SHOWS: Status: OPEN
We need to do research on finding a booth, providing public education, and asking local airsoft stores for involvement (such as providing items to go for sale at the gun show). Scott has offered to take on this responsibility.

PR ARTICLE: Status: OPEN
Scott has posted an article in the Members Only Section. We can also blend items from the Desert Hawks site and Scott's article.

AO SEARCH: Status: OPEN
Trent is looking around areas near his house. Kiley mentioned looking at areas by Casa Grande.

Open Floor:

MODERATORS TO THE WEBSITE: Status: OPEN
Kiley currently has access to the website. He will give Matt access, who can help work on updating the home page. We also voted to add moderators to the forum. Members decided we need to first clarify what needs to be moderated (e.g. trolling, bad mouthing). We also talking about the possibility of banning accounts of those who are not acting appropriately. Kiley said the software does support banning.

Actions made regarding this topic: Kiley will add a rule set for appropriate behavior on the forums. Furthermore, members decided there is a need to add more moderators, but perhaps there should be sub-forum areas of responsibility. Kiley will serve as a general/global moderator, but we can delegate several forums to other members. The Board will vote on who those people should be. Nominees will be posted in a thread under General Discussion (by Kiley). In 2 weeks, the Board will vote based on the list of nominees.

NEWS OFFICER: Status: OPEN
Matt was nominated to be the News Officer for 2 months. He will upload articles and other information about airsoft and the community. Other people can give their input about subjects as well, but Matt will be in charge for now.

U of A STUDENT BOARD (STUDENT GROUP): Status: OPEN
Crono is wondering if there should be a separate board or group for U of A students. Currently there are 8 students, and potentially 6 could be positioned as officers. Crono will post a message in General Discussion to find out what people think about creating this group.
