*FYI* Ops for 11/17/12

Just wanted to let you all know for any ops on 11/17/12, be aware El Tour De Tucson will be floating near by NW and Silverbell AOs.

The ETA for riders in the NW areas are (based on maps) 10:12 to 15:25 and Silverbell areas (along the river route) from 10:39 to 16:58. Keep in mind there will be some road blockages and LEO present along routes.

Bump; anyone think this is potentially a big deal? I'd imagine lots of people who were signed up for the postponed Old Tucson game wanna play this weekend.

Not if you are unseen. If you use the SB area just show up early and get into the box quick. The parking lot is hard to see from the road anyway unless you park near the wash.

Silverbell was closed at Ina as of 0700 last year and Avra Valley was severely restricted the year before.

I was present for both years. Personally, unless you had something planned with a limited roster and were there and gone before the roads were closed I wouldn't try it.
