Just a reminder, Flag captures in this game format will be logged by radio calls to HQ and teams scored based on length of time they hold a point, please bring a radio if you have one available so you can ensure your captures count without being at the mercy of having a squad mate in close proximity to call in your capture. Remember, it does not count unless you call it in and HQ confirms it.

Thats up to you. Since this is not structured as a true Milsim game there wont be alot of time sunk into providing intel and ambience. My advice is to bring a radio if you have one, plenty of BB's and water, its going to be an back breaking fight to keep ground on this one, its gonna be a blast!

Head count is updated!

Pay close attention to this post if your not familiar with how we played this game in the past, as it has the game rules, the hope is that we don't have to spend much time on questions in the brief.

BATTLEFIELD

- The object of the game is simple, control as many of the Control Points on the field as possible for as long as possible.

- You will be divided into two teams. 1 light colored camouflage (Tan) and 1 dark colored camouflage (Green). ACU and Multicam will be placed where needed.

- Each Control Point will have a flagpole and 2 flags, 1 colored flag for each team. To show control of the Control Point your team must raise the colored flag for your team. Once your flag is raised you will need to radio Game control and give them your team color and the Control Point you are taking but not before your flag is raised. Game Control will then log the time and your team information. This is used to tally points at the end of the day. Remember, it does not count unless you call it in and HQ confirms it.

- Points: Your team will be awarded 1 point for taking the Control Point and 1 point for every 10 minutes your team has possession of the Control Point. We will not be rounding up or down on time. For example if your team has the Flag for 37 minutes before it is overrun your team will be awarded 4 points. 1 point for capturing the Control Point and 3 points for the 30 full minutes of control. You will not be awarded points for the 7 extra minutes. You need not have teammates at a Control Point to collect points as long as your colored team flag is up.

- Are points the only way to win? No, If your team manages to control all of the Control Points on the field then the other team has nowhere to regenerate thereby you win.

- Regeneration is only possible at a Control Point that your team controls. Regeneration time, when your flag is contested, will be three minutes once you arrive at the Control Point or Flag. If the Control Point you are regenerating at is overrun before you complete the required 3 minute regeneration period you will need to go to a different Control Point your team has and start your 3 minutes over when you arrive. You will regenerate 100ft away from your flag in a designated area as to avoid confusion when their is combat going on near your control point. Instant regeneration will be allowed at any Control Point your team has undisputed control over. Which means that it is not being attacked or has no enemy within 100ft of the flag. Simply touch and go in this situation.

AEX has sent us some great swag that we will be raffling off as well. The raffle is free and will be done at the end of the event for all that stayed the entire duration. Prizes include a set of fake armor plates for your plate carrier, a few AEX ball caps and two of these sweet multicam stockings to set the holiday mood.

In addition, everyone attending will get an AEX coupon good for a percentage off your next purchase with AEX.

Remember to bring your $10 child toy for a boy or girl to cover your admission, and we will see you out there!

Sorry to bail on you guys like this, but my ride got sick and complications abound. Plus I have a good amount of homework that was assigned today as well. Again sorry, I will make up for the toy donation by using the one at my school.

It should be obvious from the cars parked there when you arrive but for those who may not be so 'situationally aware' the actual parking and staging for this event will be the 'alamo' about .5 mile east of the bunkers. Try to arrive at or before 0700 so we can get everyone checked in and chronoed before 0800. See you there!

Just genius!

Id like to reiterate how important bringing a radio is. No radio, no points for capture! You don't all need radios but if you don't have one I suggest you stay with someone who does. Having a radio will also allow you to know which flags are controlled by who.
