"The Pit" in Casa Grande

Postby PhaedrusZen on Mon Jul 20, 2009 12:41 pm

Do we want to add this to the AO section? From what I understand, it's where the last Op Hard Bean was at, and I guess it's not too far for a lot of us (no further than Santa Rita or Drexel) although I know we have guys coming from Sahuarita and Vail.

This is off Sunland Gin road and I-10

Its actually easier to get to from Toltec Rd and about 2 miles shorter. Just get off on Toltec and take the frontage road up.

I dont know if I would consider this a "Tucson airsoft" area, as it is in maracopa county. And i know SASCO is as well, but its ALOT closer the the Tucson metro area.

Perhaps if anyone can get some on site photos, as to give a visual on the possibilities of this field.

uh. its very much NOT in Maricopa county. It is in Pinal county and its only about 15 min further up the road than Sasco.

Thanks firebert. Last time i was there i was pretty tired, so Im not entirely sure how to get there, but its a nice area to play in. Only problem I found was once you go over the ridge, its pretty easy to get away from the play area.

Also wasnt if possible for cars to get there?

Check the AA site for OP Hard Bean Photos. There should be some from that AO under the recent Hard Beans.

jumped on AirsoftArizona, looks like a few Phoenix area players are organizing a game for the "pit". They still haven't stated a date yet.
