AEG maintenance/repair work needed

Postby Gypsy on Sat Jul 28, 2012 8:58 am

Howdy.

I'm new in the region, and have begun brushing off the dust from my kit, and find I need a bit of repair or maintenance on much of the AEG stuff. I'll say upfront I generally lack the know-how, time, and patience to address it myself (straight forward things like swapping out barrels, sights, sure. Anything involving the mechbox, nope), but my hope is that it would be cheaper to repair the whole batch than find replacements.

Here's the best I can do to describe the issues:

TM AK-47 - just fires slow (270-280 fps with .20 6mm beads)
TM MP5 - needs a replacement pin for the foregrip, and the selector switch don't lock into position, so by and large I have to guess where single-fire is.
CA G36K - I keep running into a feed issue, whether using new clips or old. Also fires a touch slow (280-290fps with .20 6mm)
Echo-1 M14 SOCOM - after a few short pulls in full-auto, the gearbox begins grinding and dry firing.

I live out near Silverbell/Grant, and am happy to drive it to where ever.

I can help you with the front pin issue, for your tm mp5.
These may work, I'm no expert on mp5's:

Otherwise, this will work, as its for TM's. Drawback is its overseas.

Nice, thanks! The former is what's missing.
