Looks almost like a Shriek not much information about it.

its not a shrike, its a replica of the kac lmg wich is ultimately modified off the old stoner design with a mk46 rail preference to it.

That looks like the newest issue LMG for the Army. Just a stripped down M249, I think they're down to 12-15 pounds loaded now.

this is not a new issue for the army. right now the current issue lmgs are the mk46, mk48, and m249. the closest thing to what savage describes as 15 pounds loaded are the mk46s. however, the kac lmgs weight is in that range, but was an earlier contender as an issue lmg for sof operators, but it was beat out by the mk46.

It looks like the M4 and the M249 had a baby. I Might get one. But that is expensive for a LMG.

If you look at the pistol grip and the barrel/flash hider, it looks Exactly like an M4 would. It defintly looks like a positive usefull weapon. Most support weapons have been heavy, awkard, and bulky with exception of the M249 para style. witch if you complain about, you fail.

I know with my M249 MK2, it was awfuly awkward to shoulder. Kinda the same thing with the RPK, but that one is much favorable in my mind since it is literally like half the weight of the M249. I dont know, like i Said i might invest in it, to say I own the newest light machine gun out there, but I got my eyes on a bigger, bonner giving gun.
