The problem is, G4's have a high lemon rate, lack in range, and 330 FPS is okay when everyone's in a t-shirt and glasses, but almost all players here wear full loadouts, making it MUCH harder to even notice hits, especially to the torso, at mid to long ranges with low FPS guns (tested and confirmed). I wanted a G4, too. Two months later, I'm glad I don't have one.

Didn't they chrono most full length barrel G4s at 340-360? I really don't want to tinker with any gearboxes, and to be fair, I believe 340-360 should be fine for me. Maybe I'll put an m120 there if the gun breaks down one day (your high lemon rate), but all reviews say it should be good.

Besides, I have a G&G Metal Body that I'd like to use on the G4.

Store chrono's never equal literal chronos. Even with ASGI. In person, G4's average 330 at best. (290-300 after breaking in) If you want nifty externals, grab a vfc. If you want a monster, grab a KWA. No matter what gun you end up wanting to get, there will always, without a doubt, be a better option.

True, but then ARES guns have better externals.. and AEG's have better rof, and machine pistols are more portable.... There is no 'best gun'. Just get what works best for you, and if you don't really agree with my opinion then forget about it.

Even if I don't agree with your opinion, I still wanted you to give it to me (haha) for the sake of expanding my knowledge. If I didn't care for people's opinions, I wouldn't have asked in the first place.

I would get a KWA but I'm much too poor. However, I do plan on purchasing one when I have the money. The G4 will suffice for now I think.

It just may be worth saving an extra few weeks for. Specially those new 2gx Sr series.. Those are swanky, and come with very nice tightbores.
