help finding compatible RIS hand guard

I need a RIS hand guard for this gun:

this is what it reads on the manual:
Barrel Length:14.5 in (Rifle Twist 1 in 7in)
(whatever that means)
and it has a "fixing Ring"
so I need to know what RIS hand guard will fit on it. what specifications should i be looking for when searching RIS's. not really willing to adjust the size of my barrel. i like the length it has right now. any help is appreciated.

Rifle twist 1 in 7 in is the amount of rotations per distance of rifling in the barrel. Hence: 1 in 7 = The rifling twists one full time per 7 inches of barrel.

The first one seems more likely to fit than the second.

Take a look at how your current handguard mounts into your receiver and how it mounts at the gas block/front sight area. Look for the same tabs on the ris unit.

sorry to revive this thread but i am still searching for the perfect-fit RAS for my JG M4A1 (enhanced version)
these two seem like it would be the exact thing i need. any thoughts?

should i just get the second one to be safe? or get the first one for better quality, but it might not fit...

I have found that most externals you want to add on to your gun will need some sort of modification to make if fit properly.
