Postby AlexDean on Thu Sep 09, 2010 6:12 pm

I am planning on buying an M4 for around 300$. I have been looking at these so far:
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=6091
and
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=5674

What im looking for:
-Great internals. Dont want anything thats going to break within a month. (shims, wires, gears ect. . .)
-Good muzzle velocity. 350-400+
-Metal body.
-Preferably already wired to the back. (stock)
-Easily upgradable.
-From ASGI

any help/suggestions is greatly appreciated.

As much as i like to pretty much be the only person running around with one...

i have the RIS version. it is really nice, the non-RIS is wired to the front though. I love the VFC m4/m16's, the only "con" is the pistol grip, its thinner(which is a plus because its closer to real steal) but it gets hot because of the actual walls being thinner, and its honestly pretty noticeable. Had mine for over 4 months now and it has never had a problem.

VFC's are insanely nasty in every good way. High speed, accuracy, well built. Great externally and internally.

And Music, yours gets hot cause you're running a lipo and think you're a gunner ;)

I'll sell ya my '07/'08 JG M4 for $300! Only upgrades are the hopup bucking, nub, and air seal. Only replaced those cuz I wanted to make it even more accurate than it already was.

It's only downfall is that you can't find batteries for its crane stock anymore, and the lower half of the RIS is missing. Other than that, it gets great distance, good enough speed for me (8-12 RPS, I think. I'm more for picking my targets off rather than showering them.)

Jokes aside, I've never had an issue with my JG M4. 40,000+ rounds through it (15,000+ were .12s, from when I first got into airsoft. Shattered so many of those BB's when hitting the back wall, or wood target.), only re-lubed gears once, and they show no signs of wear. Only the plastic bushings show signs of wear, and need to be replaced in about 6,000 rounds. Would probably need a shim-job, too, to make it last even longer.

Don't bother calling "Surrender" on me, unless you are A) Right by me or B) Shooting 450+ with .20's. I WILL shoot you if I see you, otherwise. I am stubborn, and don't like to surrender. Consider yourself warned.

I was just being a smartass, in case you didn't notice. I would've been shocked if you were interested. I didn't plan on selling it, either way.
