What should i do?

Alright guys there is a guy willing to give me a partial trade on my JG MP5, he is willing to trade me his HFC Mauser Cannon C-96. I've looked it up and it is full metal and real wood! Apparently it shoots up to 500 fps, it's gas operated although not blow-back and I've heard good things and bad things since it is HFC, so what should I do? The guy seems to want to take the deal and well I'm only going on what I've heard online. So throw them at me, give me your opinions and whether or not I should get it.

Well I know I'm definatley gonna test it out first before I even hand over my gun and get handed my money to me, but I wanna know is it a good trade? From the things I hear on the net pros and cons I'm so far leaning towards saying yes.

Pros
-Full Metal
-Real Wood furnishing
-Shooting at around 400-500 fps
-Carbine but is actually a sniper rifle
-Got the slav look that will look great with my Ak

Cons
-It's HFC
-Apparently hardly any replacement parts
-Can't put a scope on it (Although I'll probably find a way to jerry rig it, mp5 RAS claw sound like a good idea?)
