That sucks. Seems like GBBRs were just starting to become affordable and skirmishable.
When in doubt, call it out.

It's not all GBBR's, just the M4/M16 variants. The big issue is with the lower receiver since they are able to modify it it take real steel uppers and trigger groups and then fire live rounds.

i can modify a piece of stiff cardboard to accept a realsteel ar upper and have it fire rounds as well. I can still get those at walmart, however.

That's exactly why it doesn't make sense. I can make and own my guns in my garage, but I can't own a gas powered pellet gun without a permit?

I just wish ATF and the government would actually read their own laws before making new ones that defeat the purpose. That's all. A little consistancy would be nice.
