Postby airbornemedic on Mon Apr 25, 2011 9:34 pm

Im looking at getting a dboys ak with an underfolding stock and wanted to know how solid the stock is? I just want to know if the stock is solid, i dont want to buy it and feel like i will mess it up by taking it to a game.

Love my Dboys AKs, I own two of them now. The 2010+ models are awesome. Their M4 line is the pits but they seem to have a plan that works for them in the AK line. I'm not sure the specifics of the under folder, but I would say its fine if its the 2010+ model. If its a previous year model I'd be careful, the metal in those is more brittle then I would like for a functional stock.

I own an Echo 1 underfolder. The stock isn't very stiff, but it does the job. It sure won't break, but I wouldn't drop it from 10 feet.
