Your First Gun

Postby Crono0001 on Wed Aug 24, 2011 8:48 am

Threadjacked from AA:
What was your first 'real' airsoft gun, and what was your relationship?

I say 'real' because most of us would put our clear plastic springers, and there wasn't much relationship with that.

Although my DBoys Full Metal M4 was absolutely NOT a clear plastic springer, it didn't stop it from being complete and utter crap. The hop up wouldn't stay engaged and the FPS was pathetic, so I decided to open it up and upgrade the hell out of it. Spent about $300 bucks putting in upgrades, only to have an M120 snap the neck of the V2, killing the brand new tappet plate, and crushing the equally brand new cylinder head/air nozzle. The remains of that gun remain somewhere in NWOPs.

ICS MP5. Not a bad starter at all, considering I didn't know at the time what I was buying. Kinda miss it sometimes.
When in doubt, call it out.

Marui M4. Did plenty of upgrades a year after I bought it by a good friend. It's still my go to gun. Love it :D

CM028 AK-47. May not have been accurate, but it worked and took plenty of names. After more than 3 years, its still working for the person I sold it to.

JG M4. The beast that wouldn't die, until I loaned it out (why I'll never loan a gun to anyone but friends I trust).
Don't bother calling "Surrender" on me, unless you are A) Right by me or B) Shooting 450+ with .20's. I WILL shoot you if I see you, otherwise. I am stubborn, and don't like to surrender. Consider yourself warned.

First gun, JG 733 TSF. $60 used, lasted 2 games. Don't count...

First "real" gun, super modified TM SOCOM M14, You all know it. Traded it off of quadro for a PSP I had no money in. This time next month and a couple hundred $ and it should be hitting 410ish with .40's.

I saw pieces of it a couple months ago.
