I see that someone has a very nice "Home brewed" AT4 up for sale on AA. $500.00
If we could assemble a parts list, and source it would sure be helpful.-

AT4-is a one shot and toss device, Rules for this should be the same or close to the Recovery of grenades before it can be reused.
RPG7- Is reloadable, and if you can carry five rounds then follow up shots would be allowed with one of the five remaining rounds. If you only have one round then the Rpg would defualt to the Grenade recovery rules.

I think TJ is on the right track withh a Mortar replica. Not only would it add a great deal of realistic play, it would also add to a scenario as an objective (Take out/Capture) the Mortar teams.

A REAL demilled Mortar is avaialbe, in 60mm and larger calibers. These come with everything from the base plates to the sights, and transit chest,but.........we are talking $900 and up! Invest in this and use it as a model to build a replica.... while these are WW2 era its a great starting point

Mortar is essentially a tube attached to a base plate. If we could find someone who can wield, or more important, who has the equipment and time, we could get a metal look-alike built easily.

These would be great for an object based game, as the users would probably have a blast just messing around with them.

Put a mortar ammo can next to it, or just a metal green- colored square with the air source inside, and you have a pretty cool prop item.

**Remember the airsoft knee mortar? That has been around forever, great if you want a cheap and ugly looking prop lol.

I think the whole thing could be made from Plastic (PVC) with a minimum amount of metal. The Device will have no recoil, so a heavy base plate is not needed, and could be formed from KYDEX using heat, and rivits. The legs as well could be made from found items.
My only questions are Where to get the correct valve, and what type of air supply(not the band ;) ) to use. A Ball valve witha twist handle wont cut it. It has to be a spring loaded momentary type preferable witha pull actuator.
I would like to see three of these in use at any one time......

Before I do anyhing I am waiting to hear back from the company "11 Charlie". All you get from him is the tube and rockets and is is intended to be used with a real Mortar,Plate and legs.....
