A&K PKM?

Just saw photos of what is supposedly an A&K PKM on Evike's Facebook, followed it to their site. Couldn't find any other info out there though, so I'm a little skeptical, like the "AGM BAR" that's still on preorder on their site for some reason, despite never being released. Thoughts anyone?

Well, those are probably pre-production photos, and who knows, maybe there'll be a wood version. Plus real steel wood kits really aren't that pricey.

Either way, I'm trying not to get excited about it because of the lack of information and Evike and ACM/AGM/what-have-you's history of not following through.

Yeah, if it ever comes out, ill get the polymer one unless the wood ones decently priced, ill just buy realsteel wood, better quality then china junk wood anyways.

Well...I for one want that! Thats a bad looking AEG, and All I can say it is about time. Im going to give them a call and see if I can get a bit more information on release date. Real Steel PKM wood, and other goodies can be found.

I have been looking at the pictures,and comparing them to pictures Actual Real Steel PKM/S Lmgs. Externaly it looks perfect. If it holds true then One can expect a very impressive AEG....

GEAR BOX SPECULATION
As you can see the height of the Receiver(the real weapon has a Very Tall Dust cover, feed cover),the safety lever, and lower trigger housing would not allow for a V3 Ak type Gear Box.

TECH NOTE: Real steel Operating system is much like an AK47 action turned up side down-.An open bolt system withan adjustable gas system.Also The cleaning rod is carrield inside the Right Bipod leg

I am hoping that an M249 style Gear case is used. With with Upgraded internals. This would allow Quick Spring upgrades, and the QD barrel operation.
Not to mention very easy to work on and maintain.

COSMETICS:
I dont care if its wood or poly. Both represent a Real Weapon in use by the Russians. Lets Hope REAl STEEL Butt stocks and carry handle Grips will fit. If so they can be found for about $60-$80. also available are Gunners kits (Small pouches with replacements parts, cleaning equip),Tri-pods if you want the PK
