Hat or Helmet?

Just decided to have a small talk thread. So, Hat or Helmet? Also include why.

I'm a hatter myself, don't like the weight and the profile of helmets. Sure they look cool, but imo it's hard to keep a low profile with one.

Well that's your choice, Boonie hat shade without sunburn. A helmet in case you fall you won't hurt your head although it may in some cases be heavy.

headphones, you need the douche bag ballcap or afghanka, looks cool sometimes though,

unless you got an awesome helmet that lets you use headsets, then I say hats, preferrably boonies though.

Why does it have to be a douche bag ball cap? I'm assuming you mean the flat brimmed hats that the youth wears in order to look "thug"? My ball cap has my home state labeled on it, the brim is certainly not flat. That hat will always be there until it is unwearable or until I die. There is nothing more sacred than the bond between a country boy and his ball cap.
