Bucking Choice

Postby AxisOfOil on Sat Oct 10, 2009 10:53 pm

Okay guys...

I just wore through my Systema Hop Up bucking in less than 5000 rounds... :x

King arms SR-16
510fps with .20's...
I shoot .28's at 415-420 through it, semi-only.

What's my best choice on hop-up buckings?

I've had pretty good luck with Madbull.

Was it because you were using a soft bucking? As opposed to hard?
When in doubt, call it out.

That would be my guess, was that it was too soft... but it was also a little too big (common problem with systema buckings with non systema barrels) which probably didn't help either.

I figure g&g guns come shooting at 400 or more fps already... so the bucking should be fairly hard.
I'll let everyone know as soon as I use it a bit.

prometheus hard types will be good as well but they are pretty high priced, ($17) i think the next best is mad bull red bucking

Got the g&G installed this weekend. It seems to be extremely high quality, a little harder than the systema was initially, but softer than it is now that it is completely worn out.

So, after saturday, I'll let you know how it's doing.

Has anyone had any experience with the FireFly buckings?

The date man, the date.......
Rather than necro, start a new thread...

Unless there is nothing against necroposting around here.

Regardless of the quality of the firefly, madbull buckings and even the G&G can be had cheaper. I dont know why you would pay 20$ for a bucking thats anything less than a G&G green. I personally use all Madbull reds as my replacements, so far, they are fantastic.

So far I have found that there are few gun problems in life that cant be solved with a nice hard bucking.

Good luck in your search
