the cybergun and jg are more than likely the same gun... just like the rest of the Sigs that are both. lol.

Get it where you find it the cheapest.

When i say break, I mean something in the gearbox or wiring breaks, shatters, or burns up. It's hard to say which parts are more prone to failure than the rest. Every so often a gearbox itself will break... usually the first problem is a stripped piston... or in the bad end of things... stripped gears caused by the plastic bushings.

The spring will wear down (drop the fps from fatigue) within 500 rounds or so, I can almost guarantee that. How much will it go down? it seems every gun is different.

The thing with the china guns... is that they're not consistently the same product. SOME will be amazing guns and last forever and take upgrades easily. others (much fewer) will grenade during the first game and never work again... and the rest fall everywhere in between. Whereas the big-name companies like echo 1, ca, vfc, kwa, etc... Each of their guns might not be great... but you have a reasonable idea of what to expect from them. They put out the same guns consistently. If that makes any sense.

Alright i'll take your word for it, China guns do drop spring power quickly. You should try Evike.com for an Echo1 model you like or G&G sportline. I have this http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_215&products_id=31441 and it has held up great other than the trigger unit getting caught, i had to buy a replacement, Echo1 is coming along, but still has some kinks to work out, try one of these http://www.airsoftpost.com/index.php?cPath=21_44_218&sort=5a&filter_id=

i'm pretty much stuck on the sig 556.. i have a "JG Matrix MOD5 A4" currently.. http://www.airsoftpost.com/matrix-mod5- ... 28373.html

i've put maybe 2k rounds through it and it chrono'd at 385 fps with .25.. i'm pretty surprised about that, so maybe i got one of those good ones someone mentioned :)

That means ~430fps with .20. I think the spring that comes with it has to be at least a m125, probably a m130.

And, being that high of fps, it isn't allowed to be used at TAC games unless it is semi-only.

Well if you really want it thats ok. And unless you know your way around a gearbox i recommend buying a replacement spring (try an M110- an M120) and having a good tech install it. You can get one off Evike for 10-15 bucks. An advantage of a lower spring is it will wear down your gearbox slower and its less likely to shatter parts. Should be around 380fps depending on the gun with an m120. And always be sure to fire a few rounds on semi after you use it to release the spring tension, if it stays condensed it will reduce its power and that means a lower fps, but that can be useful

I got to see one in action recently. It was chrono'd around 300 with .25's, meaning it was easily under 400 fps. It felt a lot like the real-steel, only a little bit front heavy. I'm looking at getting one myself

I actually own this gun and with .2 it only shoots 375-380 with .12 it shoots 440-453 with .25 it shoots 320-340. So i dont think you need to change it
