Large Type Butterfly Battery into Crane Stock

Postby Crono0001 on Thu May 06, 2010 5:53 pm

I recently bought the Intellect 3600 mAh 9.6V Butterfly for my rifle:

However, this battery is slightly larger than my current one, and won't fit into the crane stock :(
... Well... it fits, but it's very very tight, and the battery is longer than the stock itself.

So I was wondering if someone knew of a crane stock that could hold this battery, because I'd love to use it.

You might need to get a full stock in order to fit that large of a battery. Other than that, not much to do other than putting the battery on the outside ;)

I'm thinking of taking a cell off of each strand, rewiring them in series, and putting the two down the middle of the stock. I think it should work out fine, I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Have you tried rotating the new battery some? With my home-made battery pack, it will only fit in 1 way.

I can take a few pics if it will help you out.
