So I want to get a mock suppressor for my ca m14 ebr match but the flash hider wont come off it doesnt have a screw on the bottom of the flash hider. I was wondering if anyone had any clue on how to remove it to put on a mock suppressor?

if its plastic, bang it on something or try smashing it a hammer. LOL

I dropped mine by accident and it cracked the plastic nozzle and it came right off. LOL

i dont recommend this though. =)

If it doesn't have a setscrew, you will have to take a heatgun to it for several minutes to weaken the loc-tite, or boil it in water (with the tip of the barrel in a plastic bag, so you don't risk rusting the barrel) for about 10 minutes, and use pliers with teeth to break the loc-tite off. The boiling water method would be the safest method, if you want to keep from causing any cosmetic damage.

Don't bother calling "Surrender" on me, unless you are A) Right by me or B) Shooting 450+ with .20's. I WILL shoot you if I see you, otherwise. I am stubborn, and don't like to surrender. Consider yourself warned.

If it's plastic and won't screw off, use a monkey wrench and break it off

Or you could do what I did for my first AEG and melt it off haha

I didnt know that you can melt off a metal flash hider without damaging the threads. seems kinda silly thing to do but what ever floats your boat.

Unless its steel it wont rust..With the exception of some higher end guns RS,and VFC come to mind. these guns have a lot of Steel. But most of the time" All METAL", or "Real Metal" usualy means some kind of metal, but not True steel!.If a magnet sticks to it, its steel....and can rust. Magnet No sticky, then no rusty! :ugeek:
