I would love to hear some feedback on whether or not a g&g combat machine 16 raider nonbb can pull a 115 spring without problems. I am not looking for crazy make people bleed speed, but would like to shoot around 360 to 370. I know different things will affect speed but I believe the gun comes stock with a m100 spring and I would like just a little more umpf. What do you guys think?

well a 115 spring might get your fps to 350-360 with .20's but definitely not .25s. I think my KWA has a m120 spring with the best stock internals you'll ever find on an airsoft gun and it only gets around 380-390 with .25s. so if you want 350-360 fps just go with a m120, there is a lot of m120 brands that are real good like prometheus and madbull. I dont really know but i think G&G springs are just average. but im not a pro at springs... lol

I've actually thought about the m120 spring but am not sure if that would be too much stress on my stock g&g. I would love to be able to have that but I don't want to ruin the gun. Can the g&g cm pull the m120 without problems??

The G & G M4 should be able to handle a M120 spring

I would assume this aswell because most Stock AEG M4's come with a m120.

I have one that I upgraded and have change the motor, my suggestion is enjoy it stock and upgrade only when it breaks cos most of the time gearbox fail when you start playing with it . Just my .2cents

some g&g's have had trouble with their motors pulling an m120. an m115 would have little difference from an m120. everything else in the gun should be fine.

I think maybe I should heed some advice and just be patient and leave it alone. I'll start saving up for the kwa sr10 for down the road. Thanks you guys for your feedback.

That advice is very good. Stock guns tend to stay working longer... and the kwa is a strong performer out-of-the-box.

I can vouch for the stock gun information. I've had my JG M4 for almost 3 years now, and I have not had a single major issue with it. Sure, a few feeding issues, but after 50,000+ rounds, any gun will start having that, due to the tappet plate wearing out. Everything else still looks brand new.

Too bad you're not using an EBB version with the AR latch. I have an extra gearbox with internals for it, and if you broke it, you wouldn't be out too much money. I'm not sure if the EBB version would take very kindly to a higher powered spring, as it may run the risk of damaging the blowback cylinder (I'm not 100% sure on this, but as it's made of brass, and I don't know how sturdy it is, the durability remains in question for now).
