The Army L85 does not have a bore up anything in it.It does have a longer cylinder and piston shaft, than a normal AEG.
The only stock replacement piston shaft you can get for the Army L85, is the G&G or Army one.
If you want to switch to a standard none bore up piston shaft you will have to get.
1- Stock TM sector gear
2 -standard v 2/3 piston shaft
3- 10 mm spacer (contact Beanns)
Would advise - NONE BORE UP.Systema area 1000 piston head.

Hi Bio,

thanks for the info. Does anyone have the measurement of a bore up piston head? I do believe that it needs an oversized piston head to go with the cylinder. (I know its not supposed to, but mine does)

Thanks

God bless...

A standard bore is 22mm a bore up is 23mm.You do not need a piston shaft for a bore up just a piston head, cylinder, cylinder head and you will have to see if they make a bore up cylinder as long as the one in your Army l85.
I have an Army here and it is a standard bore, with a after market head in it for a V.2.
Maybe Army changed the internals in them.

Hi Bio,

Thanks for the info. Yeah I seriously suspect that a supplier is sending them the wrong size cylinder and cylinder head, but not the right size piston! Kind of strange. I'll have to see what I can do to fix this.

God bless...
