My CYMA AK47

Postby Ghost Brandon on Wed Aug 05, 2009 5:51 pm

I overcharged the battery on my AK a while ago (my fault of course) the next day I plugged the battery in to see if it would work at all, it didn't. A few days later I barrowed my friends 8.4V battery to see if it would work and my AK wouldnt shoot. Any ideas?

Heres basicaly what it looks like.

Did it make any noise, such as trying to turn over the motor?

Yeah when i pulled the trigger nothing happen no noise of the motor trying to work and i used my battery thinking that the only problem with his gun was just with the battery being fried and so i put in my fully charged 8.4v battery to his gun and nothing happened.

One of the wires appears to have a small slit on it, the copper wiring doesnt appear to be cut but i'll wrap it in electric tape and let you guys know how it goes.

Sounds like you have a electrical short. As highskool stated, check your soldering points (trigger contacts, your plug, and your motor), but also make sure your fuse hasn't come loose/blown.

+1 sounds allot like your fuse is loose or blown, happened to me a few times, quick fix so nothing to worry about unless it happens every time you switch the fuse, then you have a problem.
