My VFC did something that damaged my batteries, and caused my batteries to damage my charger.

You should get a multimeter and test all electrical connections for voltage and amperage.

They are all over town. I got mine from Autozone but nicer ones(and more expensive) can be found at Lowes or Home Depot. However if you do not know how to use one properly they are kinda useless to have.

As this sounds like a Trouble shooting question it should be moved.

(1) Before you spend $$$$ Charge you battery, install it in another AEG and see if it malfunction in the same way.
(2)Buy or Borrow a new Battery-Charge it!
(3)Check and or replace the fuse
(4)Inspect all Wire connectors Motor,Battery and so on.
(5)Inspect the wires for abrasions, and cuts where it may ground out against any metal.Replace or repair!

This should confirm, or rule out any electrical problems.
