Hop Up Problem

Postby Friendly Fire on Wed Jun 03, 2009 11:28 am

Weapon: M4 -custom-
Barrel: Madbull black python ver II

recently installed a MadBull Hop Up bucking and shark nub into my hop up assembly. The bucking is supposed to increase FPS and stop double bb feeding. The nub was a tight fit but I successfully got it in with some tweezers.

When I started shooting it, it was on full hop up... and they rolled out.
So i put it on mid way... the curved straight up...
So i put it on no hop up.... it curved straight up!

Then i found the best place, which is half way between off and middle hop up.. the bbs then still curve way too far up and behave erratically.

Any ideas?

At first I thought that if i "Break-in" the hop up, and put a few rounds thru it, it may work... nope

Is the bucking too soft? Try mixing and matching your other parts to see if you can single out the problem.
