Looking to see if anyone has any R-hop patches on hand, they have caught my interest and I don't want to pay $25 for teeny tiny pieces of rubber and then pay $15 to ship them..would prefer to just get one locally. Looking to pay $10.

Also looking for a bag of .28g bb's, preferably white, G&G or other high precision brand works.

You can try contacting this guy. http://www.airsoftretreat.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=11618&title=r-hop-alternative2f-barrel-mods&cat=4 You would have to cut them yourself, but its a really cheap alternative.

That's perfect--you're the man, Zombiepancake! I'll send this guy an email right now. Hopefully he's got the stuff in stock still..:)

Still lookin for them .28's, I'll probably try and pick those up at a game if anyone's got 'em.

I have a practically full bag of Echo 1 .28's. They're too heavy for my guns so I went back to .25s. Wanna buy em off me next game?

Let me know how that material works. I might have to try it out.

It looks/moves exactly like the commercial material does in the tutorial videos I have seen, so I have very high hopes for it. To be honest I'm sure it's gonna work fine as I ran at least 10 midcap mags through a jerry rigged version using the grip from a pen at NWOP last weekend and it actually worked! As far as I can tell as long as the material is somewhat within a certain range of flexibility it pretty much works.

Until I can shoot something beyond these ultra-poopy matrix .23's, though, I'm not about to attempt anything else. It's supposed to basically do nothing under .28g anyway, and my gun shoots hard enough to basically knuckleball what I have now.

Here's a guide I'll be following

http://ratashaka.blogspot.com/2012/05/r ... anual.html

I like the addition of the extended soft contact "nub" onto the hopup adjustment arm this guy uses, and will absolutely be trying that. That should make an enormous difference and take advantage of the principal of this hopup system. I'm pretty excited and if all goes well I'll be posting up some of this material for sale or maybe even some kits (sandpaper/6mm dowel/nub material/r-hop tubing) for super cheap so others can take advantage of it because I'll probably have more than I need.

:)
