The china clone of the TM mp7a1, is deemed the well R4. This model is availible locally at sports authority, repackaged and branded TF7 by umarex usa. The mp7a1, is a cross between a pistol, and an smg using a 5.7mm armor piercing round. This clone is very sturdy and heavy as a pistol. Holsters are availible and highly recommended. The main purpose of this weapon is cqb or mout. However it can be used as a good outdoors sidearm. The access to the hopup is nearly identical to an m16/m4 style rifle. There is a sad and major flaw-- as to the fact of non- functiuonal hopup to some models. The magazine has very low capacity, but feeds all 24 rounds perfectly. Hicaps are easy to obtain, but still hold only 190 rounds, misfeeding often.
